Heel spurs
Heel spurs, visible on X-rays of the calcaneus (heel bone), is a small, prominent point parallel to the ground, resulting from calcification at the origin of the plantar fascia. Contrary to what many people think, heel spurs are not necessarily painful in themselves; many people have them without experiencing any discomfort.
